The Lowdown

Naming’s are a celebration of life. They are the perfect way to welcome a new family member, but they can be delivered at any point. Similar to that of a christening / baptism, Naming’s are a non-religious alternative. Although religious elements can of course be included.

Naming’s could take place at home, in a garden, your local beach or a village hall. They are the perfect way to create a meaningful and intimate occasion that commemorates such an important time.

There are no rules or boundaries! We can include poetry, music & rituals into your ceremony to create a perfectly bespoke celebration.

Namings are often a great time to appoint god/guide parents too.
